I was stood up.  It’s just as well.  I didn’t really feel like doing a shoot today anyway.  I haven’t heard from her nor will I call or email her to find out why.  I’ll just leave it alone.  I went straight to the doctor to be diagnosed with Bronchitis.  I’m running a fever of 101 and I don’t feel very well.  I”ll have to take another day off but maybe I”ll feel better by Tuesday.

It’s official, I’m sick.  Didn’t go to the doctor which I guess I should have but I’ve got enough prescription drugs to cure just about anything.  If I’m not any better by Monday I’ll go after work.  I’ve got a photo shoot tomorrow which we’ve had to postpone several times due to weather and other events so I’m going to try to make it so that we won’t have to postpone yet again.

I made it.  We all made it to the weekend!!  I’m I’m not any better by in the morning then I’ll be making yet another trip to the doctor. I heard today that one of my lunch partners was diagnosed with the Flu yesterday and I sit right next to her on most days.  I really hope it’s just another round of the crud and not the Flu.

I’ll be going to bed soon.  I hope everyone has a great weekend!!.

It hasn’t been a full week and I’m already coming down with something else. I’ve got chest congestion and I’m coughing.  I can not afford to be sick anymore so I’ve got to go to work.  Looks like if I can just make it through the day tomorrow I’ll go to the doctor on Saturday.  I just hope I can make it through the day tomorrow.

Today was a bust as far as the weather goes.   The weather people has been calling for ice and sleet for over a week.  My company closed at 10:30 this morning but I stayed until 1:30 when my wife called and told me it was getting bad at the house.  By the time I got home it had already quit and the roads were drying out.  There may be some frozen spots on the roadway where there were some puddles but that should be it.

Tomorrow is Friday, at least it better be.  Going to the doctor on Saturday and hopefully I have a photo shoot scheduled for Sunday.  I’m going to really enjoy this weekend as it should be fairly nice outside. Mid to upper 50’s forecasted.

I’m going to be sore in the morning.  It’s the first good workout in close to a year.  In fact, I may have over did it.  I’m still way under what I used to do on the treadmill but I’ve got to start somewhere.  I’m really disappointed in myself for getting back into the same old routine and not exercising like I should.  I’ve gained 35 lbs that I’ve already lost once and that really makes me mad.  Maybe this time around I’ll stick to it and make the changes permanently.  It is a lifestyle change, not just a diet.

Expecting thunderstorms tomorrow with the temperatures falling tomorrow night with sleet and ice on the way.  What weird weather we’re having.  I’ll be glad when spring is finally here and no more winter precipitation.

More icy weather on the way.  But first, a round of warm weather and severe thunderstorms preceding the cold front.  Curious to see what transpires and how the city will react after the no show of our last system.  They are expecting a “wintery mix”, what ever that supposed to mean. This morning I was honored to take my twin daughters to college day at UAB, University of Alabama Birmingham. We toured the campus, on foot, and went into places I’ve never been before.  I’ve lived here all my my life and I thought I knew the place.  I guess I was wrong.  It’s real nice and I learned a lot.  This also gave my daughters a chance to check out the campus, the dining area as well as some of the dorms.  I’m not sure what my daughters really thought of the place.  I think they have their thoughts of going someplace where they can experience their freedom and not have to commute from home on a daily bases.  Overall, it’s a nice campus with plenty of activities for the kids to do to unwind after a hard day of studying.

After we all got home we all crashed.  After a late night last night we all deserved a nap.

A little late tonight.  Took a trip to Tuscaloosa tonight and watched the Alabama vs LSU gymnastic’s meet.  Alabama lost but not by much.  These girls really know their stuff.  I’ve never really been interested in gymnastics until my son started college and played int the pep bands.  I enjoy the meet but I also enjoy seeing my son play and getting to spend just a few minutes with him.  He’s coming home in two weeks and I can’t wait.
