About

Married, born in 1963 with three kids. Type 2 Diabetic and loves cycling and photography..
In February of 2014 I was diagnosed with CML, Chronic Myeloid Leukemia. Until I was diagnosed I’ve never heard of CML.

I am not a writer and I was not an A student in English. So, with that said, my punctuation, my sentence structure and my spelling will be atrocious. I’m just a person that likes to jot things down and hopefully help someone else with the same issues I have.

I’m a country boy, born and raised in the south.  I drink sweet tea;  biscuits, gravy and grits are main food groups.  I say y’all instead of you all, all ladies are sweethearts and we push a buggy and not a shopping cart.  Although I have gray hair, I still have all my teeth.

I’m not a well traveled man but I have been overseas a few times.  In my younger days I had the opportunity to go to Paris, Brussels, Dominican Republic, Buenos Aires and Costa Rica.  Since the birth of my kids, most of my extra money used for traveling is spent on something more important.

Thank you for visiting and if you follow I hope you enjoy my posts.

  1. So many numbered information LOL… Wish your plan to reduce numbers (lbs)to be successful. Thank you for the follow! Please be aware that my blog is a bilingual one. So you may get links to some poems in English as well as to some in Italian… Picture though have no language barriers! Meanwhile I’m trying to keep the posting balanced between the two languages. Keep up the good work.

Thanks for following my blog. Hope you reach your goals and manage to stay on track.

    • I really enjoyed reading your blog. I have a cousin that traced my mom’s side all the way back to England to a Court Jester. Thanks for your words of encouragement..

First of all thank you; secondly wow!!! I haven’t been able to trace my ancestors back further than the mid 18th century. it would be seriously cool to be descended from a Court Jester!!

      • He was more of a musician than a “jester” but it is nice to know. Good luck in your search.
