Started off a little on the cool side but it quickly warmed up.  I was determined to get the full route in and with a few stops to rest I was able to complete it.  Not long after I finished the ride the rains came in.

It was good to get out and take my time without worrying about it getting too dark to ride.  It was nice to hear all the birds chirping and the see all the squirrels playing around.  I did have a couple of ankle biters chase after me.  One of them almost made me wreck.  I don’t know why these people don’t keep their dogs on a leash.  I also had two cars back out of their driveways and I had to slam on by breaks.  I know they saw me but they kept coming.  Other than those few things I had an awesome ride.  Just a few more weeks and I’ll be riding my first metric half century of the year.  I’m not sure I’ll make it but I’m sure going to give it my best.
