My bike rides are finally getting to me. My legs feel like jello and my arms feel like they’re about to fall off. I did another 15 miles tonight and averaged 12 mph. I’m not where I was two years ago but I’m getting there. Tomorrows plan is to get up early and do my full loop which is about 23 miles.
My weight is not really going anywhere. I’ve lost about 11 pounds but it goes up one day and down the next. Could be muscle weight. Maybe not.

I have ridden solid for a year and my weight has not changed. I think I have lost fat but gained it back in my leg muscles. My calves feel like they have grapefruits in them and my thighs are taunt instead of flabby. It will take time. I am starting to add some Tai Chi stretches and movements to work on the upper body . I am way out of shape and can barely do a push up but my legs are great. You will get there.
I’m on the same page with push ups. I’m loosing inches because I can’t keep my pants up and I’m constantly having to pull them up. I’d just like to see it on the scales more.
